Tasting Notes: Many years ago, before hops were introduced into brewing, ale was flavoured with locally grown herbs and spices. In a modern twist on an age-old technique, Banks’s Botanical Beer has an addition of a secret blend of “Gruit” – the mediaeval term for such infusions.
